Collection of local Kyrgyzstan Melon genotypes and determination of morphologicalrelationships between some Anatolian Melons

Collection, characterization, and protection of genetic resources are among the high-priority issues increasing importance throughout world, especially for breeding release novel cultivars. To understand describe characteristics germplasm, morphological status must accurately represent their agricultural applications. In this study, genotypes melon in Kyrgyzstan were collected by visiting several regions contacting farmers. The diversity 35 Kyrgyz 13 Turkish accessions was characterized based on corresponding phenotypes. characterizations largely IPGR and, to some extent, UPOV standards. from collections both countries separated into three main clusters using ward method. It demonstrated that 40 parameters, fruit-related contributed most significantly separation PCA analysis, results analysis also validated cluster analysis. According squared eigenvalues, Kg-G C-09 observed be closest related genotypes, whereas Kav-3 YYU-13 distantly related. Accessions YYÜ-22, C-02, C-03 have heaviest fruits, Manas-6 Os-02 highest fruit flesh thickness, C-08 determined SSC contents all accessions. fruits differed significantly.
